By the end of this Mini Lesson, students will be able to...
- recognize that sentence combining is the process of connecting smaller ideas in a logical way, thereby eliminating a series of short, choppy sentences.
- list at least five additional methods for combining sentences.
- write ten combined sentences using any of the five methods presented in this MicroLesson.
Sentence Combining, Part 2, Full Version, comes with a word search and a crossword puzzle. Additionally, all "Free Trial" stamps have been removed.
With the presentation itself and both puzzles, an entire class period will be needed to complete all of the activities.
