If you are like me and many other people, you have a lot of other things to think about that are a lot more interesting than your finances. However, the day will come when you are to old to work or maybe you will just be tired of working every day -- and you will need to live off of your retirement savings. This program was created to help you project your finances through your retirement years. Based on your input, it simulates your monthly cashflow for 30 years and shows you if or when you run out of money. Although simple to use, the simulation includes many factors such as general inflation, escalation, taxes, etc. This program is not intended to deal with complicated financial matters such as taxes on long term capital gains, handling stock sales, etc. Those matters are best delegated to financial professionals and would greatly complicate using the program -- and our goal was to make using the program as easy as possible while still providing you with a very useful tool. |
