WHAT TYPES OF PRODUCT DO YOU RESELL?
We resell almost any type of software program or electronically fulfilled product (e-books, web site subscriptions, etc.). With only a few exceptions, we also gladly sell other items such as books, CD's, etc. We will not resell items that:

  • Promotes violence, discrimination, unlawful acts, or pornography
  • Is spam-related
  • Is some type of "get rich quick" scheme
  • Is for events subject to cancellation (concerts, cruises, seminars, etc.)

HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS TAKE?
If you complete the online signup form accurately, you should not have any problems getting set up moments after we review the information (which is often just a few minutes after it was submitted). From that point on, you have real time control over adding, modifying, and deleting products via an easy-to-use control panel.


CAN I TAKE CREDIT CARD ORDERS AND PASS THE INFORMATION TO YOU?
No, because we are the merchant, we must accept the order directly from customers. Otherwise we would be participating in something called "factoring" which essentially means one business is processing credit card transactions for another business — something forbidden by the credit card companies. Our services, of course, are much more than processing credit cards, as they involve the much more valuable service of actually providing a convenient way for people to order, maintain statistics, maintain continuity of an e-mail address, secure web site, fax number and generally offer more of a "big business" environment that helps us all enjoy the resulting economies of scale we can obtain. We are essentially reselling your products or services for a very small commission and arranging any shipping that needs to be performed to be done with a "drop ship" arrangement. Thus, we are the ones that need to collect the credit card payments directly from the customers to ensure the function of our services stays as it should.


HOW ARE ORDERS FILLED?
We offer several easy ways for you to fill your orders.

  • Our system will e-mail you a notice right after an order is placed. The e-mail will let you know what has been purchased, the date of purchase, the customer's name, e-mail address, shipping address, etc.
  • You can set up your product information so that our system provides your customers the ability to download a fully functional version of your software program, e-book, etc. after their purchase. We offer this feature at no extra charge! MORE INFORMATION ...
  • You can have order information posted to you via an Instant Payment Notification (IPN) script so that you can program your system to automatically process order notifications. MORE INFORMATION ...
  • We will copy your software or other digital goods to CD-ROM and mail it to the customer with no extra work or cost to you (in fact, you can even make an additional profit on CD-ROM sales by charging a little more than our costs to perform the service!). MORE INFORMATION ...

HOW WILL I GET PAID?
We mail checks to you twice a month and they take only 2-4 days to arrive anywhere in the U.S. and about 10 days outside the U.S. If you live in a place where mail is delayed beyond that or you otherwise would prefer it, we can also send payments to you via PayPal at no extra charge or wire your payment for a $45 wire fee. Another option available upon your request is that we hold checks until a higher minimum balance has been reached ($500, for example). Some of our clients combine these two features, which are completely optional and may be changed as needs change.


WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
 One of the most important aspects you always have to consider for your business when you consider a reseller are the costs. NorthStar Solutions offers an exceptionally low and very fair fee structure of just 5.9% + $.75 per order (default) or upon request we can set your account to have a flat rate of 7.5% per order (minimum fee of $0.75 per order).

We also have no monthly fees, chargeback fees, refund fees, or other hidden fees. Payments to you are sent twice a month (once at least $100 is owed to you).
